Hi Doug,

Interesting, would be good to know if after 2/3 weeks this solves your problems as my experience says it won't.? ? ?I double-checked one of our installations today when I saw your message and the DHCP IP/DNS/GATEWAY / router settings were all good and I'm sure the others are fine too.? ?I have seen this on multiple sites and the only common denominator is if they are left unused for some time as highlighted by Iain.

Would love to get to the bottom of this as I've given up trying other than force close and reload.? ?;-)

Re: Roku Control

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I use a combination of the Crestron Certified VideoServer Ethernet driver and the Roku 3 Series 20181106 driver.? I get primary functionality from the Crestron driver and the ability trigger apps by name with the Roku 3 Series driver.? By triggering apps by name I can navigate to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. with a single button press.

Hope this helps

Jay

That is where the magic of IP control is for me...otherwise I do like tried and true IR.

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

You can also do some nightmarish enabling of objects that would all be on separate subpages, essentially enabling them as you would with subpages and then layering them all on one page.?

Definitely a non-hand me down type of program and I wouldn't advise it.... But it will work.?

Crestron Home new Sony TV IP Control Incomplete

using a Crestron CP4R to IP control the Sony XR85X95L everything works fine. Replaced the XR85X95L with the newer Sony Bravia 9 model K85XR90 and the power on/off, input flip, and direct access to smart apps work fine, but cursor up, down, left, right, select/enter, home and other functions do nothing. Crestron has started a ticket to investigate. This is true no matter which Sony TV IP driver I choose. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

Cant you just add more subpages to the main page? Different style of programming, sure. ? But easy fix. ?

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

Hello Iain,
? We have had fits with the iPads locking up in commercial applications.? Typically in systems using Crestron VC4 processors.? We always use secure 41796 connections.? Our Service Engineer recently discovered in a large facility that the iPads that were "locking up" did not have a Default Router set in the IP settings.? He set a Default Router and all the iPads started working.
Just a thought.?

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

I see the same problem on commercials. ? Ipads left on the APP for a long time stop responding. ? Some somtimes wake up, but there is a long delay, apx 5 to 10 seconds. ? Others don't. ? Force close and reload is the only way to fix and it works straight away.

never raised with TB, but will do now. ?Do you have a ticket number I can ask them to link it too. ?May e we can add i bit more pressure.

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

Hi:

1. Which app?
2. What processor?

Re: Missing 1 IR command head scratcher

I uploaded the file.
Any help would be much appreciated

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

Have you tried downloading the iphone app (you have already purchased) onto the tablet, and restoring the purchase.? 2 different but same looking apps should appear on the ipad, the phone version should just be the smaller size with the ability to magnify the size.

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

I only needed 2 pages on the iphone for my little fun project.? So time to part with another Franklin for the tablets.

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

I had a client with the same problem. She finally got tired of it and bought touch panels.

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

It is considered a completely different app

Re: Crestron app, before I make a expensive mistake

So even though it's the same apple account it will cost me another $99.99 to add the ipads? thought everything on that apple accout was covered.

Re: Ipad App port 41794 lock up

Great...

? We're about to troubleshoot the same thing..?

Re: Smart graphics button state (active vs inactive)

This seems like alot of work if you just want to monitor a LED lighting up. I wanted to do something similar at my home to know when the washing machine was done. I just bought one of these photoresistor sensor relays linked below and put the sensor over the Machine Done LED onthe control panel and made sure to mask it from ambient light. Now I have a set of relay contacts that run into my processor. The sensor relay engages when it sees the light of the Machine Done light.??

For our prodiction jobs we often tie in with generators that have an auxiliary relay board that gives status of running/faults/etc. Perhaps your generator has an expansion board that can be wired in?

Re: Smart graphics button state (active vs inactive)

Not using VCC means we're no longer looking for voltage but contact closure.? I think these boards using VCC are switching the negative by looking at the traces on the back side.

Re: Smart graphics button state (active vs inactive)

A little more probing tells me there is 1.94 volts at the LED's all the time and the ground or negative is switched.? These isolators are available in single, 4 and 8 channel modules. They appear to be cheap enough so I'm going to order a 8 and attempt to mod it to trigger at a lower voltage.? The thought occurred to me that perhaps there's another option.? What about placing a cadmium light detector cell over each LED and read resistance?? Never done it but believe the versiport can do resistance.
