Simpl Windows compile runs very slow today.?
Not sure why. When it completes, it takes more than 10 min, if it finishes at all.?

This is definitely S+ related.?
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Cross Compiler. Updated all other Crestron software.?
Restarted PC.
Deleted SPlus work folder.?
Confirmed that folders are not set to Read Only.?

So far, the same result no matter what.?

TB says they do not provide programming support (not really understanding my issue).
So.... I thought I would turn here to see if others have had this issue and if there is a possible workaround.?

This issue, and "Why can't I use custom fonts in iPad projects?" are the top tickets we get for Theme Creator support.

The fix is definitely to install the Harman Air SDK - to my knowledge, it's worked for every case so far, and we've put a link on our product page to the Harman download because it comes up so often.? I have no idea why it only affects custom themes and iOS projects... but I stopped caring when CH5 took over... oh... hang on...

To be completely open book, the other main question we get is "Why can't I see the font I've just installed in Theme Creator?" - the answer to that one is "Install For All Users".

This OLH answer did not work for me on a project from last week. ?I had to compile it in my "pre200 database" VM and the compile window still spent and uncomfortable amount of time frozen. ?I suspect there may be some database or other gak that is also to blame for this issue. ?This only affected the Crestron App as native touch panels compiled in current sw environment.

Do what Zac said. Uninstall latest SG 2.17 or 2.18 and roll back to 2.15.06.
Confirm everything is working, then you can upgrade back to latest SG & it will continue to work.

Sending a mode command when the unit is OFF does not turn the unit on, but it does change the mode. Its a good old system that only does what it is told to do, and doesn't guess.

By template do you mean custom theme? I had an issue with a custom theme recently and decided to move away from the theme altogether after spending a bunch of time on it. For my scenario the project compile would hang and never complete. I even tried to re-create the theme in Studio by editing a Crestron theme and then replacing all assets (how we've always. Not sure why it didn't work but I still have an open case with Crestron about it. If you figure something out please post the fix.?

I've done a couple of systems with CoolMaster, and send the Power On command before every Mode command. However, I can't say if that's actually required.

The first one was replacing a Mitsubishi G50 controller, and already had the logic for Power On, so I just left it in place. Both jobs were remote, and I never tested to see if Power On was really necessary.

I think I uninstalled all AdobeAir programs and installed it from??to get this fixed.

what port are you using. sample program uses port 24. documentation says port 23.
Not sure if the ports have been set up on VC4 but tech walked in this morning and CBOX is locked up and web interface does not work also.

I've been using mine with the vc-4.? Everything has worked well accept sending CEC commands and/or IR commands to multiple TVs simultaneously.

I resolved my issue by tying 2 IR cables together coming off the one box that was working reliably.? So far, this has been working.?

I have other rooms setup with just one TV and they are stable/reliable.

Have the current modules been tested on vc4? ? I have techs on-site and the Cbox keeps locking up. ?They talked to someone that said to try and stagger the 232 communication to help? ? Shouldn’t the module be doing this. ?

If this is a custom theme + Crestron app project - search here for my post of similar issue. It envolved copying AdobyAir sdk from another machine or something like that.

This was before the flash removal updates, so I would think they fixed this by now.

You can also try installing SmartGraphics 2.15, then up to current (trust me, it makes a difference).?

Trying to remember what I have done in the past to fix this.

I believe I had to move the file to a new folder, rename the file, save the file under a new name or a combination of all these.

I have used the Coolpoint many times on Daikin and Mitsubishi splits and VRV. It works perfectly. As with the normal AC system remote, the Power_OFF and Power_ON are the unit Off/On in its same state. Mode changes H/C/F? and SP adjust Set Point. Only word of caution is don't display Room Temp to the user, unless you have a separate wall mounted sensor in a good place, otherwise it measures the temp in the return plenum by the fan coil, and this is wildly different from the RT. My usual TP layout is a simple ON/OFF, SP with UP/DN and MODE. Sometimes louvre control if appropriate.

I am using custom template and to this day everything working corecctly. Now compilations stucks at the end of the process.

Tried to reinstall all Crestron software but problem stioll exists.

Put this on a pc with multiple USB audio cards or Dante?

We've used it and it worked well
