Masters 2019 scheduling grid

I've updated my scheduling grid app for Masters 2019.? It may be helpful to plan your class attendance -- pick the classes you're interested in, and it will show the possible combinations of timeslots.

Anyone have DM 8G output cards taking up space?

Nudging my house forward from a DM-MD6X6 with a upstream HDMI switchers I¡¯ve resurrected a 16x16 that was left for dead ¨C but it is full of DM classic output cards.

If anyone happens to have DM 8G _output_ cards taking up space that they want to get rid of ?(looking for 3 cards to make 6 outputs, specifically; although they¡¯re going in a 16x16 the faceplate is of little consequence¡ªI have ways of making that work) hit me up off list Lincoln /at/ controlworks.com. ??

Can¡¯t answer the question, but¡

?

If you have the opportunity to change hardware¡ Ross stuff supports RossTalk (TCP/IP) and while it doesn¡¯t provide feedback (Yet? I¡¯ve asked for it and I¡¯ve been told it is being ¡°discussed¡±) in addition to the industry-standard GVG100 protocol (over 422 or IP). RossTalk lets you pull off almost anything the switcher can do and it¡¯s a nice simple text based protocol.

?

I have a bunch of systems I¡¯ve designed with Ross switcher engines (CBF-109 or CBF-113) that the clients love; the one project I had (didn¡¯t design) that had a controlled ATEM in it got replaced with something else after it locked up one too many times. (We weren¡¯t directly controlling it there was some odd contact-closure controlled middleware between us and the switcher)

I've tried the UDP module in Files (won't connect) and RS-422 (tried everything I could glean from the Interwebs) and am unable to get it working.

Anyone actually pulled this off?

Re: How to Test CEC

I set watch on commands which are using CEC for any type of control and use debugger.

Because CEC often doesn't work for specific setups, especially related to ARC, it is not good to assume that CEC will work with HDMI.? As well, power commands can vary significantly, so if using CEC for power control, it's important to go through testing with them using the Debugger Tool in Toolbox.

The Mercury systems are atrocious in this regard as there is no straightforward means to test basic system functionality.

How to Test CEC

Hello All!

I have been playing around with CEC for a little while and in every implementation it has worked great for me.? However, recently I was asked if there was a way to test CEC and I got a little stumped because it's always just worked for me.?

There are multiple ways of testing RS232 communication to ensure the commands are getting to the device.? For instance, if I jumper the Tx & Rx then I can get feedback to ensure the cable works and the command is being sent.? It's also possible to pick up a DB9 tester to verify signals as well.? I've used RS232 a lot so I am familiar with many tricks to prove RS232 is working.

So my question is: What about CEC?? It's not like we can (easily) jumper HDMI ends to verify transmission. Is there a means to verify CEC commands are being transmitted via HDMI and received by the device?? Is there a device which can be used to test the HDMI cable?? How do you test CEC?

I am hoping someone can help me find/send me a control module for a Sony VW385ES projector. I am using a module for a Sony VPL-VW95ES that controls on and off but does not work for switching HDMI inputs. It seems to connect via C2COM serial driver/RS232.

Thanks so much for any help/advice you can provide.

Re: Cisco SX80 and Touch 10 Communication with Crestron DMPS3-200-C

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hi,

Thanks for the guidelines, as far now I am not facing this issue.

But my only concern is I am not able to create a feedback button on cisco touch Panel.
For e.g if I am pressing any button on my Blu-ray player control I am not able to get the feedback button on Touch 10, because of which sometime user keeping the recording button on and not realising to stop there recording is there any solution for this.

"Can anybody let me know how do I Control DMPS3-200-C with Cisco SX80(with Touch 10), I had already prepared the GUI using Cisco In Room editor and loaded the GUI in cisco Touch 10."

? Everything you need is in the "Cisco Touch 10 Room Control Demo" you can get from Crestron.? You just need to copy the IDs for each control you've generated on the Cisco UI.

? One thing to look out for - a project I'm working on now creates certain button press signals twice on the same physical press - somehow two different press-related messages messages from the Cisco come in timed far enough from each other that they trigger the module's code twice - not helpful if you're trying to drive a toggle in your code.? I put a one-shot on the ones I'm trying to use for that...

Re: Steamist port for communication

"I have a system that I have to connect to this device that is on the network, the manual says to use port 9761 but i look in the ip table and is not connecting."

You'll want to watch the analog status value in debugger to get some kind of clue regarding the connection.? Also ping the IP from the processor itself to make sure it can be "seen" from the Crestron...

Re: String Size

"I need to send this exemple of string with SIO feeding the TX$ TCP Client block

"sendrf,1,8,1,2663,9024,2760,8999,2760,9023,2736,9119,2664,9023,8352,3071,2760,9023,2736,9048,2735,9024,8351,3072,2736,9047,8399,3024,8352,3071,2736,9047,8328,3168,2663,9024,2759,9024,2736,9119,2664,9023,2760,8999,2760,9023,2736,9047,8400,3000,8423,3024,2736,65535\r\n""

For everyone else - and you if you haven't tripped on it yet - you want those last characters to be "\n\n", not "\r\n".? Depending on the server/device you're connecting to, you may not get a response getting what you're using - the "<cr><lf><cr><lf>" is the *correct* way of terminating that...

And to continue on replies by others, you can break that across two or more lines in a single SIO, *and* you can trigger all the inputs with the same digital signal - the processor is smart enough to complete the one on top before moving on to the next line, even with the same trigger.

It's underneath the daughter board. The daughter board is attached to the motherboard with two plastic screws.
