SOLVED: DMPS-100-C no Source Audio control
ok, it was 3am over here when I wrote this.
I talked to Customer Support this morning and they were able to help. For later reference, this is the (rather simple) solution: When using the inputs of the DMPS-100-C Standard functionality module: ?Set_Program_Audio_Right_to_Out_Right? and ?Set_Program_Audio_Left_to_Out_Left you must set the crossed over controls as well, that is: ?Set_Program_Audio_Right_to_Out_Left? and ?Set_Program_Audio_Left_to_Out_Right If not used, give them an init value of -800d and don't leave them commented out "//". Only then it works as expected. A DMPS-300-C doesn't exhibit this behavior. |

I have 2 units a 552 and a 752 exhibiting the same behavior. The project is three hours away and I would like to have a permanent fix before I head there tomorrow. TB told me to reload the .puf and .vtz files, did not work but I was doing it remotely and could not see exactly what was going on. -Paul |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI have TSW-1052, TSW-752, Xpanel, iPad and iPhone. All are a direct save as from the 1052. I just got a message from a client who has 3) 1052s that are experiencing the same symptoms. ?He rebooted the POE, and the problem doesn't go away. Two of them are stuck loading, the other says no project loaded.
Of course, these are the only devices I don't have set up in the router, and I am 6500 miles away in Warsaw. |

A complete shot in the dark, but one thing I'd check is the power status on the panels. There's some information in the boot log (err plogcurrent) which can indicate an under voltage.? Obviously, we know thins from experience of a PoE switch that wasn't able to deliver sufficient power to the panels and the result was that they would freeze up.? Removing load from the switch resolved the issue. This is what we were seeing in the log: Persistent log contents during current boot: HW WDOG: PMIC FAULT_LOG Register Content: Watchdog Time Violated = 0 VDDOUT under voltage power down = 1 ... A pain - but at least it's an easy one to resolve if that's the issue. Cheers, Ol |

Re: Importing Smart Graphics/Objects into Simple
Anytime that I 'refresh smart graphics extenders', Simpl comments out all of the old extenders and imports all brand new versions WITHOUT my programming. ?Am I doing something wrong or is this a 'feature'? ?I have 18 panels and about 20 SG extenders and even with the new duplicate programming, it is tiresome to delete all the commented out extenders after copying.... oy!

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before... So I installed several TSW-1052's and TSW-552's last week. ?Updated all the firmware to these panels to the latest firmware, loaded my graphics tested and went home. ?That was last Thursday. ?I go to the job site today and every single touch panel was now locked up. I have 5 1052's and about 8 552;s on site. ?A few V15's as well but all those are OK. ? ?Some were stuck in the Crestron Loading screen, some were stuck on a black screen, and one was stuck with a message saying the Android OS was being updated. ?But it all cases, I was able to connect to the panels via toolbox. ?I was not able to reload any project to ANY of them. ?All gave me an error message when uploading through FTP or through Toolbox. ?Of course I caught this towards the end of the day so Crestron tech support wasnt able to do much yet (I will be back with them tomorrow after to double check code and VTProe files). ? What I was thinking is that maybe the Andoind OS operating system started to get updated in the background and jammed the panels up. ?Anyone else seend or heard anything like this?? ?I'll update when I go back on site tomorrow and call back tech support. ?

DMPS-100-C no Source Audio control
I'm sitting in a project and going nuts with a DMPS-100-C.
I cannot control the analog output volume of the selected video source, no matter which one I choose. Neither by programming nor with the DMPS Tools. I can move the faders on the "Analog Output Configuration" page and see feedback from the unit changing values. But sound stays at the same (max!) level. Feedback signal is: ?DMPC-100-C_Slot8_Slot7_Source_Set_Left_to_Out_Left_F Values range from -800d to 0d as expected. (same for right channel) Input trim -10dB to +10dB works, however. Anyone experienced this before? This is a University project where we install two identical systems. The first DMPS-100-C stuck in boot loop with no chance to recover and was replaced with a DMPS-300-C. Nearly identical programming on that unit works as expected. Your ideas are greatly appreciated! DMPS-300-C Volume Analog Values
Anyone have good settings to use with the analog values of DMPS volumes? Some of the signals have ranges from -800d to 0d and others are 0d to 65535d. I'm trying to drive them with Analog Increments... but strange things are happening. Then there's the Gauge Settings on a Smart Graphics panel, where I set the min and max values for the gauge.? Thanks. Better yet, does a huge demo program exist that shows how to properly use the giant DMPS module? |

Re: Crestron App Crash
I just went through the same issue showing up on my testing iPad that had worked without fail previously. I also successfully loaded the same file to the clients iPad Air running same app version and iOS version.
Ran the usual routine, rebooted everything, reloaded, nuked Dropbox, etc. to no success. Fix for me was deleting the Crestron App on the iPad, re-installing it and re-entering the settings in the app. Everything is working fine now. Gremlins... |
