I have 16 of these things and 3 of them are (consistently over a period of days) randomly rebooting. I'm pretty sure I have seen it on more than these three, but for now we have identified 3 panels where the behavior is common enough to cause a problem.
Behavior: Panel reboots upon a button press, or panel reboots for no reason at all.
Mine are all Cresnet connected, some powered locally, most powered by Cresnet with power calculations done.

Also I have done the initialize/restore and clean compiles. I will try the remaining suggestions to be safe.

To be clear, the panel can stay functional for hours, even days with all the buttons working, before this happens at random. Sometimes it happens with relatively short interval, like 15 minutes, but usually not.

I am deploying to 10 systems, so I guess I?ll find out if it is a bad panel soon enough..

Its been a while but instead of "1" try the commands using "ALL_DEVICES" as your integration Id. It will definitely work for polling not sure about setting levels.

Been there, done that... The flip-top simply doesn't have that option. Which tells me that probably a separate team of engineers worked on the flip top model than the 4L. Other than that, I can't imagine why the hardware would be different between the two models.

The last triggered subpage is what always shows up. You will have to do some tricks with delayed pulses or something...

I have a case where a slave switch needs to turn on it's load, as well as an adjacent load. I thought there was a way to say "level1 = level2".

Alternatively, is there a way to somehow respond to the slave button programmatically? I can't see anything, even at the simpl level. Might have to pull this slave out and stick in a keypad or dummy dimmer.

Great thats what I though, I knew the RadioRA switches had a minimum load, so wasnt sure if the same applied to the EX switches (first time using them).

you can control a 120v coil relay who control another bigger relay.

you can control a power plant if you want

beware of the fact that Crestron processor doesn?€?t handle the ?€?priority array?€? of BACnet IP protocol ; when the processor writes a BACnet object, it always does it with ?€?Priority 1?€? (probably highest than that used by the Honeywell control unit).

BACnet uses UDP communication so there's no need to specify an IP address.

You'll need to have unique IDs assigned for the Crestron processor and the HVAC device you're talking to. It doesn't matter what ID you use as long as they're separate.

Probably the easiest way to handle HVAC control is to use an analog value to send to the HVAC system to request a set point, then the HVAC programmer supplies you with an analog input (input to his system) that will represent the current temp read by his sensor(s).

This way you only need 2 BACnet points per HVAC zone. Add the two for your processor as a device and his HVAC controller you're at 4 points for a single zone, plus 2 points for each additional. Under 50 points can be done with the free license in a 3-series processor.

There's a standard one out there (CresDB I think) but be warned: Symetrix stuff is odd. Last time I did one it had a very strange characteristic. It only responded to serial commands via the 232 port if it was connected to a network via the LAN. Pull out the LAN cable and wham: "err&#92;x0D" to all commands. They said its a bug but a damn nasty one if you ask me. Ended up leaving my cheap 4 port switch in the back of it just to keep it working.
