Re: Sony UBP-X1100ES Power-On issue
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI?m using WOL successfully on other devices, so i don?t think i?m doing something wrong. I?ve also tried a WOL-tool on my PC which I use for testing ¨C that also doesn?t work reliable. And i?ve found some other posts on the internet mention that WOL only works once after a power-cycle. So there seems to be something. If it?s working 100% with you, i?d really interested how. I?ve now installed IR as a fallback just for powering up the player, but it would be nice if it would work completely via LAN. In this installation the player is sitting right below the processor so cabling is not an issue, but there can be other projects where this is not the case. ? Cheers, Thorsten ? Von: [email protected] <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von rickwookie ? Ok well I think I¡¯m using the UDP client directly to do the WOL and it works. I¡¯ll have a look later and post an update. |
Re: Sony UBP-X1100ES Power-On issue
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI?m using a WOL symbol provided by TB. It works sometimes (so I guess it?s doing the right thing), but not always¡ ? The HDMI setting I mentioned in my previous mail didn?t help¡ I?ll probably send ?the power-on command via IR ¨C the X1100 has a IR-plug on the back so that?s not a real issue. ? ? Von: [email protected] <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von rickwookie ? Only works via WOL for me (UK version of the player). Perhaps you¡¯re doing the WOL wrong. How are you doing it? |
Re: Sony UBP-X1100ES Power-On issue
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHm, it seems as if setting ¡°HDMI control¡± to ¡°off¡± is required. ? ? Von: [email protected] <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von Thorsten K?hler ? Hi, ? i?m using the module from the group archive to drive this player to control it via IP. Everything works fine, including power-off. The only thing that doesn?t work is power-on. I?ve tried via the module and also via WOL. Player?s networking settings are allowed to be controlled via external control system. ? Am i?m missing something? ? Cheers, Thorsten |

Re: VT - PRO e
I got this too this week.? I had the project open for a few days.? Closed it, and rebooted my laptop, and windows did an update and then all projects opened and would not show UI.? To fix, you ONLY need to update the new VTPro-e application itself.? I did not update anything else, including SG or databases of any kind.? The problem is corrected by VTPro-e update only.

Re: Curl formatting
Why are you sending it with any line breaks in a serial send? That's more for human readability, but in a send symbol it all appears on one line with your escape codes anyways meaning there is no added benefit in doing so... Minimize that JSON into a single line with no line-breaks or spaces.

SIP Intercom
HI;
I am being asked to specify SIP intercom for a large-ish installation: ? 6 ¨C TS-1542 15 ¨C TS-1070 And replacing a Panasonic telephone system that has 30-ish extensions as well as a car-gate and man-gate.??Apparently they never actually use phone system for outgoing calls but only for intercom purposes.??Limited initiation of point to point calls, mostly an all-page kind of thing. ? Client seemed OK with using 770 or 1070 for replacement of Panasonic phones. ?A bit expensive, but I they also get the ability to see their 90-ish cameras, run HVAC, etc. so there is a bit of extra value there I guess. ? I have looked at demo program and understand phone book, etc.??but I would like to know if there is any additional hardware I will need to specify to support the number of endpoints. ? Also, I am wondering about the gate stations.??Drive up has an old skool DoorKing calling the Panasonic.???Is there any way to recognize an incoming SIP call from the gate, either via an appliance like Barix,?replacement?call box that has SIP, or whatever (i.e. not a touch panel) to trigger control system events? ?Can I get something at the gate to initiate all-call to 50 endpoints? ? ? |
Re: CP3/CP3N Requires Reboot
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIs this system on XIO cloud? ?If not disable that feature ? I had a similar issue with a pro3 and that fixed it. All the Hydrogen Errors are from the XIO cloudOn Jan 15, 2021, at 12:50 PM, cnaclerio6 <cnaclerio6@...> wrote:

More Sonos Fun
I thought that I had found a few network settings, etc. to help with Sonos stability, but as usual I'm wrong again.
This crap continues to torture me and my clients with unreliability, where even after a reboot, Sonos communications seems to go down with 4-6 hours. I'm using the latest SW+DBs (as of ~ a week ago), and the latest Processor FW. It seems worse now than before... I'm only interested in what others are seeing in their systems, as I want to make a case to Crestron regarding this - Unless of course, I am the problem!!? Except that my Sonos code has not changed at all in 2-3 years since the 3.1.0 modules came out, and things worked pretty good until ~ 6 months ago and now even more so in the last 1-2 months...obviously something has changed beyond my control... Looking forward to any responses... |
Re: CP3/CP3N Requires Reboot
Sharan, I¡¯d say stopping program slot 2 from running would be a good place to start before moving onto more complicated things that way you can at least isolate it a little more. ?If stopping program two didn¡¯t work, I would delete the files in that slot leaving only program one and reboot. Lots of ways to troubleshoot this but good to start from step one

There are obviously solutions, but it requires more time, communication and people involved to get back to operational in some environments. |
Re: CP3/CP3N Requires Reboot
Those Data aborts must be whats causing your issue. Run SPLUSTASKS and look for a Thread ID that matches one in your Exception Data Abort errors- in your case Thread-Id=09e60146. You will need to run it before the program resets as the Thread ID will change when the program restarts. When you find a Thread ID from the exception that matches one in SPLUSTASKS it will show you a module location in your program- that is the module causing the data aborts and probably your issues.?

Re: CP3/CP3N Requires Reboot
Have you updated the firmware recently? I have found that the newer firmwares take longer to boot so if you have a lot of things tied to "1" or a modest delay after boot you may want to set a boot/initalize connections after 30 or 60 seconds. Probably a good place to start

Re: Sonos AMP Discrete ARC Access
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýTry these, if not I will try to post my IR driver tomorrow. ?For some reason Sonos took the page on their website down that had the codes. ?The ARC input is the TV input. Codes are same for AMP. |
