At our company we use primarily Mitsubishi projectors. I have been using the Roomview Connected Display module for a while, but one thing I have noticed is that the image mute does not seem to ever work. Has anyone else noticed this? Just wondering if it is specific to Mitsubishi or maybe it is just me.

I'm going to attempt CEC for the first time thursday and was looking for some info.

Anyone control an LG with CEC? Just looking for power control and switch to HDMI, maybe an aspect ratio, but I'm not going to get crazy.

Where can I get the commands, or are the ones in the file section correct?

Older Consumer TV...so its CEC or IR.

IT has its own IP since it has wifi. Ill try it out when I get a chance and report back. currently my roku stick us connected to my Oppo 103, but I could move it to my onkyo 818 and try it there.

Is a URC MX-810i a option?

I have had MX900s at my house for a long time. The only crisis is when we are out of AAA batteries. I just did eight MX890s in another house (where the MLX3 absolutely would not work) with no issues beyond the normal.

I like the MLX3 also, if you have a clean 2.4GHz environment and are willing to overcome the stupid factors getting it going. But, you can't beat the nearly 100% up-time of the 418 gateway stuff.

manual says default 9600 somewhere in the SIS section (while it clearly
says 38400 elsewhere, but who reads those parts?:-)

If you power down and up the DMP, do you get the extron copyright notice
on your com port? If not, probably baud rate or cable

Odds are, if you find a hack that works for the ELAN or speakercraft boxes,
you'll find it'll work for the AAS too.

I'm not sure why you were having trouble connecting. That's something I haven't experienced with any unusual frequency. From afar, it's impossible to tell if the panels are working correctly or not. The Crestron guys debugged all the way down to the bridge into Core 3, and that's where they had to stop because there was nowhere else they could debug from afar (which I found odd for a new product). Everything looked okay. They have a real mystery to solve.

(For what it's worth, I'm on FW 1.6.25. I've lost track of the firmware updates I've done - I think this job started at 1.4.7 maybe. Always, always, always something wrong! Thinking happy thoughts. Vacation in three days!!)

One of my techs ran into this exact problem on a jobsite yesterday. We have 5 TSW-750 on the jobsite, and 3 of them had "lost feedback". All 3 were running 1.6.15, and the two that didn't lose feedback were still running 1.5.5. Coincidence? Probably not.

When I tried connecting to them remotely, I couldn't connect to one of the affected panels, but I could connect to the other two to force a reboot. My tech on-site had to manually reboot the third.
