Hi
I need to control a CCTV DVR.
I think that the best way to do it is with a CNMK.
I want to use a TPS-2000L Touch Panel & I need to know how can I
simulate the mouse via the Touch Panel?
Thanks
Micky
If you are trying to do absolute mouse coordinates (e.g. press the
screen button you want to click directly), the CNMK won't do it. The
mouse protocol is all relative. About the best you can do with the
CNMK and a TPS2000 in have a left, right, up, down, and click keys
overlaid on the video output of the DVR. You use the arrow keys to
move the cursor and then press the click key -- kind of awkward in my
opinion. Also, I have found that if you have a lot of Cresnet
devices in addition to the CNMK, the mouse movements will become very
erratic.
If the DVR has an XY RS232 input protocol much like that with Escient
music managers, then it would be better to forgo the CNMK, use a
slider on the TPS2000, and feed the position information to the DVR
via an RS232 port.
