Well this does not let me see which ones are "no driving source" and again I have to open the symbol and comment each signal. My current list is 1117 signals have no driving source. Its would take a very long time to open each signal up on its symbol and delete it. I need a faster way.
Program stats
35,000 digital signals
29,000 analog signals
10,000 serial signals
4.2 Mbytes
1117 errors all no driving source.

Try to use the "signal list" in the bottom of the "program view". Hope it
helps you.

Well. Im 100% certain of what im deleting, so I just need them gone.
I know how to delete them one at a time. Im looking for a much faster way.
Maybe some slick bit of code that can take the error list and remove
signals for me. Like a macro you might use in photoshop to automation
actions in Simpl.
In this program what has occurred is over years when new gear was put in
the system they never removed old code, just commented out stuff. Also they
left huge chunks of code just dangling around. So far I have deleted 281
symbols that had zero use in the current program. Thats 281 out of 1000.
Each symbol of course had a number of extraneous signals. What I really
need to do now is clear out all the left over disconnected signals. There
are 671 of those. Its almost impossible to manually clear out 671 signals.
Its just too time consuming.
Also search and replace should be able to clear a signal. That would be a
HUGE help when dealing with this kind of mess. Like Find: // and then clear
the signal.

Yeah that, and +1 to commenting them instead of deleting. Don't delete
signals with a // before them for no reason.

you move the error log in the left side, cover the symbols library,
keep the maximum surface on the right for symbols view.
and double-click on each error in the log. Will open the symbol and
position you to the unconnected signal. repeat hundred of times , and use
alt-F2 to comment the signal insteal of delete it.

Im dealing with a big program where 3 different incompetant
programmers created a lot of big messes.
I would like to clear every instance of a signal that has no driving
source. How can I do that ?
I would also like to clear any signal that has a //
I just dont know how to do this. I dont want to go find each one of
these hundreds of signals.
