The?Collections Stewardship Succession Planning Initiative?is a two-year project of CCAHA, in partnership with?,?created to?actively address the need for leadership development and knowledge transfer in the cultural heritage workforce.?Funded by?a National Leadership Grant from the?, the initiative will gather data and build professional development resources to support succession planning for collections stewardship staff and volunteers.
To inform the creation of these resources, CCAHA and Lyrasis are conducting an online survey to gather data on current succession planning practices and better understand what kind of resources would most benefit the field.
Collections Management staff at libraries, archives, museums, and other collecting institutions as well as Arts Administrators and Operations Managers within the arts field are encouraged to respond. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and all responses are kept confidential.
