¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThis November, join DHPSNY for , a free, 2-week immersive learning experience that will set your institution up for success in times of crisis. Participants will not only learn the essentials of emergency preparedness, but also put their knowledge to task in an interactive exercise simulating a real collections emergency. ? Description Emergency preparedness is one of the most important steps any cultural institution can take to safeguard its collections. In week one of this online course, we¡¯ll provide an overview of key elements?of emergency preparation in self-paced modules, focusing on the?emergency management cycle, risk assessment,?components of a preparedness and response plan, and determining salvage priorities. Students?will?put this new knowledge into practice during week two, with?collaborative?group work?to draft?an emergency preparedness plan.
With a flexible learning environment, this course combines the convenience of on-demand, virtual education with the benefits of interactive learning.
