Hey Empty Nesters! Though it might not be real warm on Monday evening, grab a jacket and something to share for dinner (along with your own plate, cup, etc.) and let's gather. Monday, May 19, 6:30 pm at the pavilion in Orem's Foothill Park 1011 N 1240 E (directly north of Foothill Elementary) Bring something tasty to share, and bring your own plates and such.

Dear Friends, I see a FUNDRAISING YARD SALE in our future again (Late May). Our Grandkids Conrad & Phoebe Bigelow would like to raise funds for another year of Gymnastic & Cross Country Competitions. We are so proud of their hard work and willingness to put in effort to help raise funds as they chase her dreams. This is a great time of year to Spring Clean and we are happy to pick up your unwanted or unneeded things off your hands! Food and Care lunches for May 23
Here's a way to celebrate the last day of school! We are looking for 10 volunteers to contribute 5 lunches on Friday, May 23, delivered between 7:00 and 9:00 am to the home of Sandra Thorne (1158 E 300 N). If you have questions, call or text Sandra at 801-224-7492. Thanks for your help. To volunteer, click on the link below: https://signup.com/go/HtTdLzm Sack lunches are given by the Food and Care Coalition to adults who are on their way to a job or an appointment and would otherwise miss a meal. **Please write the date on each bag so we can serve them efficiently** Please include in each sack lunch (portions to feed adults): ---Sandwich with filling of your choice (meat, meat & cheese, tuna, egg salad, chicken salad, etc. Please provide 2 sandwiches if peanut butter is used). To prevent soggy sandwiches, please butter bread, or put moist components in the middle of the sandwich, with the dry fillings next to the inside of the bread. ---Fruit and/or vegetable ---Snack item - chips, popcorn, pretzels, Chex mix, etc. (can be put in sandwich bags from larger bag) ---Dessert - can be homemade or purchased: must be wrapped ---Drink ¨C optional, though desirable when it is hot ***You can include other items that can enhance lunches, such as a quote or non-denominational thought (optional) **** Health guidelines: ? Tie back medium & long hair ? Wash hands ? Don¡¯t prepare foods if you are ill ? Use disposable vinyl gloves if hands have a cut or scratch on hand ? Use fresh food, wash veggies & fruits ? Keep cold foods cold -use ice chest in warm weather to transport lunches, refrigerate overnight if prepared ahead of time

I've divided my hens and chicks succulents. Anyone interested in starts? There are two colors, they are winter-hearty varieties, and they are very drought-tolerant. I grow them in fairly shallow pots on the edge of the lawn where they get the overspray from the sprinklers. They are out on my front porch for anyone who would like some.
