Sack lunches are given by the Food and Care Coalition to adults who are on their way to a job or an appointment and would otherwise miss a meal.

---Sandwich? with filling of your choice (meat, meat & cheese, tuna, egg salad, chicken salad, etc.?
Please provide 2 sandwiches if peanut butter is used). To prevent soggy sandwiches, please butter bread, or put moist components in the middle of the sandwich, with the dry fillings next to the inside of the bread.

? Tie back medium & long hair

? Wash hands

? Don¡¯t prepare foods if you are ill

? Use disposable vinyl gloves if hands have a cut or scratch on hand

? Use fresh food, wash veggies & fruits

? Keep cold foods cold -use ice chest in warm weather to transport lunches, refrigerate overnight if prepared ahead of time
