Hi neighbors
Emily, my high schooler, needs service hours for NHS and is wondering if anyone needs some help around their house today or tomorrow. She and her friend can offer a visit, cook a meal, vacuum, help put away Christmas, lift heavy items, remove Christmas lights from outside, go up and down the stairs as many times as needed, etc. They are happy to do anything that needs doing.
They are available anytime today (Sun Dec 29) or tomorrow (Mon Dec 30) from 10:30-3:30 pm and 6:30-9 pm.

Service opportunity at the warming center for the homeless

We have had late night knocking a couple of years ago before we installed our Ring doorbell. ?The teenagers were on a go-cart with our situation. ?We were so startled from the loud?bounding that it disrupted everyone¡¯s sleep for a week!?
Since we¡¯ve installed Ring, we haven¡¯t had any issues like that. ?So annoying and odd?for sure though. . ?.?

Free bunk bed, We¡¯ve had it for 13 years and bought it used so it definitely has been well loved. It¡¯s solid wood, Can be unstacked to make two twin beds with lots of storage . would look great if it was refinished but has scratches and the kids before us hammered some dents in the side as pictured.? We also have a wooden bar that goes across the top bunk. (Stickers have been removed).

Our 4th-Friday commitment to provide lunches for the Food and Care Coalition falls on December 27th this year. Maybe this is a good way to continue the celebration of Christmas!

As most of you know we have been trying for 2 years to adopt our nephew onto our family. A huge win last December allowed Joshua to be placed with our family by Pennsylvania's Child and Youth Services.
We have been continually working towards adoption and recieved a call yesterday that a hearing slot has opened up.
Tomorrow, 12 December at 11:30 am will be Joshua's adoption hearing! It will be over video conference.?
We wanted to extend an invitation to anyone in the ward who wants to attend. We have recieved so much help and support over that last couple years. We could not have had the means to have this smiley, little boy with us without your love and support.
