Sunday Social
2
Hi Ladies, Sorry I couldn't make the meeting last night - baseball season! Anyway, the current plan for our 4th sunday outing is to go to 50West Winery. I am trying to get a reservation, so if for some reason I CANT get one then I will provide an alternative location. We will aim to hang out from 3-5. They close at 6, so if you want to stay longer, I am sure that is fine. It seems as if they have some food on site and that you are also allowed to bring your own food. Hope to see ya'll there! https://www.50westvineyards.com/ -Sara

Book Club
Happy Mother¡¯s Day! > > I¡¯m ready to begin our Book Club. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, June 8th, at 7:00pm in the parish office. The book for this month will be "The Bishop of the Abandoned Tabernacle" by Saint Manuel Gonzalez Garcia. It is a small book so I think it can be read prior to our first meeting. I would also encourage you to think of a book that we can read for our next session. > This book club will be a social group. If you want to bring something to share, it could be an appetizer or something to drink, they are all welcome. > > See you on June 8th! > > Kitty H. > >

Tried and True KID Friendly Lent recipes
Hi All! I know that every year people put out lenten aka meatless recipes. This year I am going to ask this with a slightly different angle - Can you please send me your meatless, full meal recipes, in an email or word format, that kids will actually eat? And I am not talking to ya'll that don't feed your kids McDonalds or sodas. Sorry - truly I am pleased that your kids eat that many veggies! My kids don't - they do like sushi and filet mignon and chicken curry though - so I need recipes that are truly kid friendly! Like cheese bread with pizza dipping sauce and Instant pot tuna casserole with a ton of cheese and so on. THEN I am going to compile them and put it into a PDF and send it back out! Thanks a bunch, Sara

Hello! I hope you all are enjoying this warm weather! It was so delightful when I went out to walk our puppy this afternoon! You should have received an invitation to join the GroupsIO Corpus Christi Catholic Church Women's Group. We thought this would be a good way for more discussion among the women of CCCC, especially for those of you who are unable to attend on Tuesday evenings. If you are looking for prayers, meatless meal ideas, a good Lenten book, need a handyman or whatever you can post here. If you haven't subscribed already, please email [email protected] or Sara Skees at saraskees@.... We did have a few women reach out about joining the email list after the Flocknote went out last week. Welcome! We now have a Women's Group tab on the parish website, it is under Parish Life. It is so great how our parish is growing!! Hope to see you at an upcoming event!
