Rest Event - LOOKING FOR A RIDE

Good morning all.

If anyone attending the REST event has room to transport 1, I would appreciate a ride . I¡¯m looking for 1 way transportation as my husband happens to be working today in the area. He will pick me up after the event. We are trying to avoid having 2 cars.

Looking forward to todays event and seeing all of you!

Tried and True KID Friendly Lent recipes

Hi All!

I know that every year people put out lenten aka meatless recipes.? This year I am going to ask this with a slightly different angle -?
Can you please send me your meatless, full meal recipes, in an email or word format, that kids will actually eat?? And I am not talking to ya'll that don't feed your kids McDonalds or sodas.? Sorry - truly I am pleased that your kids eat that many veggies!? My kids don't - they do like sushi and filet mignon and chicken curry though - so I need recipes that are truly kid friendly!? Like cheese bread with pizza dipping sauce and Instant pot tuna casserole with a ton of cheese and so on.??

THEN I am going to compile them and put it into a PDF and send it back out!??

Thanks a bunch,
Sara

In desperate search of...

I am the Stakeholder for the Corpus Christi Work Camp Crew.? I am looking for someone (older than 25) who is interested in serving teens in the diocese for the week of June 18-24.? This is a last minute ask as we have to have our Crew Leaders signed up this week.? We need both a male and female crew leader!

If you have never heard of this before, here is a video put together about it by the youth offices:

The commitment is:
-- the FULL week in June (in Winchester)
-- the occasional?meeting at the Corpus Christi offices in South Riding (we could zoom you in if need be, but in person would be better) about once a month on friday evenings between now and June 18
-- the trainings listed at this link:??

During the week you will:
-- drive a work crew to a work site and work alongside them under the supervision of a contractor
-- lead the parish work crew members in discussion/small group in late afternoons
-- monitor parish work crew members during youth fellowship in the evenings (with the assistance of the "security teams" from local parishes)

Please reach out to me directly at 703-863-7272 or?saraskees@...?to discuss further!
Thank you so much,
Sara

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hello! ?I hope you all are enjoying this warm weather! ?It was so delightful when I went out to walk our puppy this afternoon!

You should have received an invitation to join the GroupsIO?. ?We thought this would be a good way for more discussion among the women of CCCC, especially for those of you who are unable to attend on Tuesday evenings. ?Think of the old YahooGroups, I think I just dated myself, where you can ask questions to a group but don't have to belong to facebook. ?If you are looking for prayers, meatless meal ideas, a good Lenten book, need a handyman or whatever you can post here. ?If you haven't subscribed already, please email?[email protected]
or Sara Skees at saraskees@....

We did have a few women reach out about joining the email list after the Flocknote went out last week. ?Welcome!?

We now have a Women's Group tab on the parish website, it is under Parish Life. ?It is so great how our parish is growing!!

Hope to see you at an upcoming event!?

Peace,
