Series parallel contact relay for Comuta-car

Henry Cittone All Messages By This Member #19022 Hi Everyone - I am looking at a 1981 Comuta-car and the seller notes that the series parallel contact relay needs to be replaced.? Is this a hard part to find a substitute for (or an original)? I spoke to a few electrical engineers and they were wary that it would be a custom part that might be hard to locate, or that any substitute would not fit in the location. This would be my first EV purchase. Thank you in advance for your responses.

They can be repaired and last time I heard parts are available from the maker is the best, lowest cost way.? If the coil, replace it. You can repair the contacts, sand smooth and have a jeweler, etc recoat with silver.? If you go contactor and I suggest it as much more powerful than an e controller, buy some extra contacts just to have them around in case. Maybe someone can jump in with the details, part numbers, etc as I forgot the company name.?
