Electrical help ......Happy Thanksgiving
ok back on the trail after yard ornament stage? would like to see if this thing moves hot 12v supersized Mercedes battery and turn key lights turn on and wiper move wiper does not shut off........dash wiring looks a mess.... Have taken pictures engine bay guessing wires may be charging related was hoping someone has a feel for commuta car wiring ...got commuta pic one 1. two wires bottom right corner yellow and green? guessing those would go to charging system quite possibly? green obviously negative? yellow one ....they spliced to a black wire with female small square end? 2.orange capped wires know they are from side plug for plug in charging? three wires pic two 3. yellow and orange with knot and taped together in second attachment see there are already one set yellow and orange connecting to shifting towers tried see if there were juice to these two wires although did not go to ground separately to see if turning on switch activates them 12v here is what we have going on around fuse box picture 3 and 3 wires hanging around picture 4 have smart phone as well? I sold the yellow Citicar to someone that lived in Blaine about ten years ago. He knew someone with a pickup truck, and we loaded it in the back -just barely fit! ?Found a loading dock nearby that was the same height as the truck bed.? I have a Hyundai Kona EV now, but the Citicar was great fun.? Tom Keenan

If that was Wash DC NW, could have been the one I bought from someone back in 1980?

I don’t know about that one, not a lot of them up here though. ?Mine’s been in the family since it was new.?

l live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
I just purchased a 1980 Blue Comuta car in amazing shape, other than it needs new batteries.
I purchased it at an estate auction in Edmonton, Alberta.
It was only there for 2 years, it appears to have spent the previous 38 years with 1 owner in Portland.
it’s currently parked in my garage, everything is on hold until I get it licenced.
It has an upgraded controller, uses 10 6 volt batteries.
I am still sorting a few things out.
?Thanks for now.

Sounds unusual at 60v! Welcome!
My name is Neil
l live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Re: Got to sell my 78 Citi-car?? Baltimore MD
For the records, someone is looking at my 1978 citi-car that I mentioned a week or so ago. I bushwacked it out of the weeds and if he decides to take it, then it looks like there might be promise of another citi-car recovered.
We will get you the VIN when appropriate.? I have had it since about 1980 and it may already be listed on the citi-car list under my name?: - Bruninga.

Price maybe $500 OBO... Bob WB4APR I contacted Mark and will be purchasing the Comutacar. I'll post pictures when I get it of that and my 76 citicar which I've been meaning to post but haven't had the chance. The 76 should have the motor back in it and brakes finished by then

Welcome to the group.? I am interested to find out more information on your C-Car.? I am the keeper of the C-Car Roster and I currently have three listed in Canada. One each in Vancouver, Ottawa, & Québec. I have three listed in Portland,
but none of them are 1980’s. ?I can assume yours will be new to my master file, which currently consists of 371 around the world.? If you can please send me the any information you can.? I file these by serial number but I create the C-Code from that number.?
The below list is the information I would like.? If you don’t know just leave it blank.? Also, if possible any information you have on the previous owners, for my archive file.? I would like any pictures you would like to share for my file as well.?
I would be real interested on where those two extra batteries [#9 & 10] are on your C-Car??
Send it directly to my email as listed below to keep any private information off the internet.?
I red line any information you wish not to be known to others and it does not show up in any reports I make from my master file.?
In essence I am recreating company records from information on those C-Car’s currently around.?
If you have any problem getting it licensed, I can give you the contact information of the other owners in Canada for their help.?
In addition to this email group, there are several others on FaceBook as well, if you are interested.?
Thank you for your time.? Hope to hear from you shortly.?
