Log Hay River, NT May 1st, 2025

Did a day trip down to YHY.

Flew down on an Air Tindi Twotter and back on a Canadian North ATR. Departed YZF at 0800 and returned at 1530.

Got taken out on one of the airport maintenance trucks to photograph the DC4's and DC6 and then did a runway inspection.

Took a taxi to downtown Hay River to see the 3 C-47 fuses in the Buffalo Airways yard. Requested permission to wander around and permission granted.

By 1000 I could have returned to YZF but had to wait for the next flight to YZF which was at 1530.

Note No sign of DC4 GXKN at YHY so assume this has now been completely broken up.

Nothing new at YZF today.
