I thought I'd do a write up instead minus the logs due to all knowing what we can see when visiting.
Apologises for the long write up but hopefully this is useful to others especially planning a visit here.
You require being on the 3rd Floor which is the highest. Room with Airport views are in B Wing 3202 - 3234 (even rooms), but I noticed when I was allocated 3222 on looking out the window your view is very obstructed by the Bus Station and some trees. You would be able to see stuff parked on some D Stands (not all) , E , F & maybe some stuff parked on G Pier but not any of the H Stands. Maybe S Apron (Cargo Ramp) not sure about the Biz Ramp. Depending on which allocated room you had would probably give you slightly different views. These rooms look like they don't have any fridge if you required one
I decided on looking round to ask for a room in C wing 3301 - 3334 but none of the rooms have views over looking the airport. However I was just going to the big window at the end of the corridor and was able to see stuff parked on?D Stands (not all) , E , F & some stuff parked on G Pier but not any of the H Stands, plus S Apron (Cargo Ramp).?The corridor window you can't see anything parked on Biz Ramp.?
You would see anything lining up on runway 24 ,?
I had Room 3313 which did have a fridge, so I'm presuming all the others would but can't be sure.
I was able to see stuff climbing out from 27 & 22 and you would see for?landing traffic on 09 & 04 you would see this view from the odd numbered rooms only.?
From the corridor window stuff landing on 36R once it had vacated, stuff departing 18L rolling down runway & 18C would be seen once airborne. Anything landing on 06 only if its coming round to part of D Pier , E / F / G & H Pier. Anything going off runway 36C & 36L you would require FR24 maybe SBS to see it taxying down. Traffic landing on the Polderbaan 18R you would only see once its on the taxiway level with 09 end then heading to one of the piers for parking.
Parking is 19 euro per day
Breakfast 18 euro buffet choice (but didn't seem much of a choice)
Evening Meal 24.50 euro (All you can eat buffet) menu is different each night and I was very disappointed !!
The main restaurant doesn't take cash only cards, this includes the Burger Diner I used
I think I've covered everything, if anyone wants to ask anything or is unsure of something then please do ask me. Despite me not requiring many KLM / Transavia I still managed a good haul as far as long wise.
