For purposes of editing, from where is the Chat QTH sourced?? The Chat screen QTH does not match anything I have so far found.

Thanks group!

Thanks John.?

I could be looking and not seeing "actions, update" - or that capability is present for Windows, and handled differently in Linbpq.? Still searching.

In the web interface, there's this map position field under "Chat Mgmt" then "Configuration" - is that what you're after?

This gets written to?/usr/bin/linbpq/chatconfig.cfg

Individual user locations (set with the /QTH command) get written to?/usr/bin/linbpq/STUsers.txt

Martin

Thank you Martin.? Location entered on that screen does affect Map Popup, however, has no effect on QTH - at least with my setup.

BUT editing /usr/bin/linbpq/STUsers.txt as you directed WORKED!

You're a good sleuth

Easy sleuthing in this case - edit things then run "ls -lsart /usr/bin/linbpq" and see what files changed most recently :-)

Assuming it's your own location you're trying to change, you should be able to do it from the command line.? So after youv'e connected by typing "CHAT", then "/Q" will show your current location and "/Q Abingdon" will set it

Hi Martin.

So far the approach of editing the txt file as you directed yielded the answer.? Thanks kindly...
