Errant connect script
Greetings. There's what I believe is a connect script making a connection to my node that is evidently originating from N0HI's node in Colorado. It's attempting to connect outbound to KB9UNZ-7 on my VHF port. I have not been within VHF range of KB9UNZ-7 in nearly two years since moving further north, but curiously this started relatively recently. I left a message with Jess N0HI asking about it but never received a response. I can't say for certain if the script resides in his node, though. 15:23:38T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:23:46T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:23:54T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:24:01T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:24:08T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:24:15T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> 15:24:23T N0HI-14>KB9UNZ-7 Port=1 <C C P> If there's anyone on here that is in contact with N0HI that can inquire about it, I would appreciate it.? Also is there any way to block the incoming connection? When the above activity is present, I can see a circuit to N0HI-1. I don't have a direct link with N0HI-7, so I'm not sure which AXUDP link the incoming connection is using. My best guesses are the links with either KE0GB-7 or W9GM-7 as they both have direct links to N0HI-7. Normally I keep the VHF radio set on high power because stations in my area are relatively far away.? These repeated attempts to reach a station that is well out of range are causing my power supply fan to turn on and run unnecessarily unless I turn the power setting down on the radio. Thanks and 73, Lee K5DAT |
