BPQ Escape Sequence?

I have not been able to find an escape sequence in/for ?BPQ - some sequence of characters that would disconnect my end from a remote connection that has gone 'haywire'? The only thing I have found is to kill 'pilinbpq' and bring it back up again. Not a very elegant solution. Better way?
Thanks & 73

pi@bpq:~/linbpq $ cat bpq-restart.sh
sudo systemctl restart linbpq.service

How are you connecting in? The terminal programs I use have a disconnect function.
