Hi All,
I have Linux Mint 22.1 64 bit and installed QTTermTCP 64 bit version that I plan to run with Direwolf.
When I click connect nothing happens. I do have AGW configured.

Not sure what mean, Nothing Happens? AGW is showing in the Connect tab? If it is in the lower right corner there a box that should say AGW Connected or not.
I can meet you the CCAR repeater in about 10 minutes or tonight after nets??
N3MEL
|
Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the assistance. So AGW does show connected in the right
corner but the Connect tab on the top is greyed our.
But I have an update. I tried Kiss and it works okay now.
Another but. When I connect with KC3SMW-7 via W3SK I connect but
immediately send a DM with KC3SMW-7 continuing to send me the
welcome instructions.
Ah, it's nice to have local tech support :-) Good talking to you on
the repeater Glenn. So I'm going to try adding -1 to my call and
maybe changing the local port in case of conflicts to see if that
helps with the connect to KC3SMW-7.
Thanks again Glenn and don't work too hard today.

So I tried adding -1 to my call without success. Also tried changing
the Kiss port to 8010 without success. Below is the monitor window
when I connect to KC3SMW-7. You can see where I send the immediate
DM.
I'm in the process of trying Linpac to see if that connects.

Which version of QtTerm are you running?
Until recently there was a bug where if you ran it in single window
mode with a combined terminal and monitor screen with AGW enabled
the AGW monitor session would grab the whole window and connect was
greyed out. Fixes are to upgrade or run in multi window (MDI or
Tabbed) mode.

try adding -1 to my call and maybe changing the local
port in case of conflicts to see if that helps with the
connect to KC3SMW-7.
Thanks again Glenn and don't work too hard today.

Not sure what mean, Nothing Happens? AGW is showing
in the Connect tab? If it is in the lower right

So now I have QtTermTCP Version 0.0.0.65 working I am still having
issues connecting to a node over RF. When I connect to a node my
next packet is this:
10:13:33T NY3J>N3LBP-7 <DM R F>
I
think DM means I'm sending a disconnect command. I can't figure out
why I am automatically sending this out.
