Polling for mail

 

Wondering if someone would be able to point me in right direction.

I like hanging out on Net105 as there is a ton of activity there. But, I would like to participate in another net that has BBS to BBS forward (something that is frowned upon in 14.105). Is there any documentation on how to script a change in frequency, poll for mail, send mail, and then return to the original frequency of 14.105?

I saw someplace briefly mentioned scripting, but I am not finding it again when I am looking for it.

You could run additional ports on the same QRG and remain compatible with Net105, if you flip sideband:

Thank you!!! This helps immensely. I can¡¯t get QTSoundmodem to work here, some software issues, but I was able to get Channel 1 working in Direwolf on the USB side with the recommended tone pair.

You can use a RADIO command in your BBS forwarding config to change frequency before connecting There are examples in

At the moment there is no way to change frequency at the end of a session, but you can set up RIGCONTROL with a scan list of just the Net105 frequency then it will return there when the scan resumes a few seconds later.

I'm working on a "Disconnect Script" option which will do what you want at the end of a session.
