It sounds like aprnet is not required for your application. The thread below may be helpful.

No, you don't need amprnet. How are you planning to use it?

I plan to run tcpip between two linbpq nodes over a 9600 baud link.?
I want to access the internet from the node that does not have internet, only radio connection
Is it possible?

Is 802.11n,ac possible?
Near line of sight?
Legal in your country?

?
2 commercial outdoor rated 802.11n,ac router-radio-antenna devices
would likely be much cheaper than 2 ham radios, 9600 baud modems, antennas.

Or a pair of NPR modems at ~500kbps assuming you're NOT in the USA where we are crippled at just 56k.

For me no, we don’t have clear line of sight to our repeater site, so in needs to be uhf or vhf.

And so a pair of NPR modems (with TRX built in!!) on UHf should work.

I built mine from the gitHub repo and saved a little $$$. They do 56K up to 500Kbps depending upon how they are configured.?

and
sudo ip route add 192.168.5.1 dev LinBPQTAB? ? ? ? ?(on se0yos)

Probably wrong way to do it but couldn't run these commands
in the IPGATEWAY configuration.

No, you'll have to do that on Linux.

I'll think about that though there may be security implications.

IIRC FBB used to have a "superuser" auth mechanism where a connected station would be challenged with a password prompt. The prompt was not looking for the whole password but rather a random assortment of the characters in the password. If the password was "LetMeIn" it might ask for "3417" and expect those corresponding characters to be returned.

Just a thought?
