I think you need the UPDATEMAP in the port config. Tho it may not work for some ports types. I dont have a frequency line here, but have the RADIO section configured for rigcontrol.

Probably all it will require is a FREQUENCY line.? Most likely you have anything else you need already.Mark et alia: Used after PORT ... ?CONFIG ? I have ";FREQUENCY..." 3 times in my bpq32.cfg file. Obviously I have had issue this NAME|VALUE pair. Is this an information line or does it attempt to control a radio? I assume that the center frequency would be used. Where may I find more information? "FREQUENCY" does not exist in :-| 73, Chuck |
I don’t see Frequency and Updatemap in the documentation but i am pretty new to bpq so i may not be looking in the right place….

I will put an “UPDATEMAP” in my config and see what happens. Thanks Bob On Jan 11, 2025, at 8:08?AM, Chuck Gelm <nc8q-aredn@...> wrote: --

Aye, It is not explicitly put in the various modem drivers. I have found it by some trial and error. But it IS listed in the uz7ho driver: It works on some others I think like WinRPR, ARDOP, and KISSHF (undocumented). If you look at n9seo-3 on the map, you will see mine. Tho I guess RPR is not reporting now. It was when I looked some months ago. 73 |
I tried adding info to the MAPCOMMENT parameter and adding the UPDATEMAP parameter, with no change to the map listing….. would help to know what the map keys on to make the decision if the node is HF capable……

开云体育Are you talking about the maps at and vps1.g8bpq.net? If so, you don't configure anything. Your call will be red and will appear on the Heard map if you hear packets on a UZ7HO, ARDOP, VARA, PACTOR, SCS Tracker or WinRPR port. The code considers these to be HF ports, regardless of the actual frequency. KISS ports are assumed to be VHF ports.?73, John On 11/01/2025 01:38, Bob-va3rjs via

开云体育Sorry, that's the same map. nodemap.g8bpq.net is an alias for guardian.no-ip.org73, John On 11/01/2025 22:09, Bob-va3rjs via
