BPQ32 config question
A couple of things..
?
Att he end of a MAP line be sure thers is a B.? That will broadcast the node information to this connection.
?
Besure you have BROADCAST NODES in your AXIP port configuration.? (Or other port you have netrom connections on)
?
Finally, be sure you have an alias for your node and each defined application in the APPLICATION lines.

The node does not seem to like the BROADCAST statement in the port definition! I get an error at node startup indicating "Source record not recognized: BROADCAST NODES" Bob

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýMake sure you have call, alias and quality (normally 255) in the end of the APPLICATION lines73, John On 31/12/2024 14:51, Bob-va3rjs via

It sounds like you are sending a broadcast, but you want all of your local nodes to be included. Normally I do that by setting the MINQUAL=254 in the port.? If it is set to 255, I believe that will result in sending only the main node as you are seeing. Normally if I want to send a nodes broadcast on VHF, I set the quality to something lower than my internet/AXIP port such as 160. That's a personal preference, however. 73, Lee K5DAT ? |
Thanks I missed adding the quality parameter it was set as zero! Bob

How do I get the linbpq node to broadcast all the node
