CLAWS mail, POPing mail, multiple clients and unread mail
Hi,
How do others deal with the "Unread mail" generated by housekeeping in these scenarios? Since I am using CLAWS mail, having the system report mail is unread in X days is not really accurate tho

Re: need sample of Radio port using Channel command
Actually it can be either case but there is a bug in the code and it won't work without a TNC Mode parameter (eg P1 or VN). I'll fix it but the mean time it should work with a dummy Mode TNC Mode

Re: BPQ - VARA
Normally VARA uses the bode all and first 4 applcalls but you can supply a MYCALLS parasm to the VARA config to override this.

Create a new Vara Port.
In that port start the second instance of Vara.
You will need to include

In the Telnet Port configuration of the bpq32.cfg file the value of CMSCALL should be WA9C.
It may have been mistakenly entered as

LinBPQ Winlink error message
Hello folks;
I inherited the sysop duties from a SK. The system is operating on a Linux computer with packet only. I noticed that when I start LinBPQ I receive a message that says:

Re: BPQ - VARA
Thanks John
??? Yes, our testing today shows only 5 total.
It looks like the first 4 applications are used along with the node call.? What with Appl 1 being mandatory for the bbs leaves appl 2, 3

10200 or whatever port you decide.? You can even use 10092 if not already used for TCP.

The TCP-MASTER goes on the node that you have no real control over. WW2BSA-5
TCP-MASTER goes in WW2BSA-5 and TCP-SLAVE goes in WW2BSA-7
You will nedd to port forward port 10200, protocol TCP at

Re: RIGCONTROL format/options
If you are not scanning you can comment out the scan lines.? Then manually set your radio to the frequency and mode desired.? It will never change.
As long as you are scanning it will switch
