Thomas You must use a Telnet Client to connect to the BPQ Telnet Port to test it. Once you have an application that uses the telnet port (http, CMS, etc) it too can help prove your telnet port works.

Now, having said that.... you did use the BPQ Terminal to connect to chat.? You just need to identify yourself properly using the /N command.? Because of the slight error in your attempts it entered

It looks like you are trying to connect to your telnet port from a BPQ terminal window.? That is not going to work, or at least it does not work when I do the same with my well configured install.?
