Re: Having trouble adding VaraFM port to existing node
Ok, your nodecall cannot be -1 because you are using that as your BBS call. Make NODECALL=AI7HH-7 Change this line: APPLICATION 1,*BBS,,AI7HH-1,,, To this: ?APPLICATION 1,BBS,,AI7HH-1,AIHBBS,255 In

Re: Having trouble adding VaraFM port to existing node
Your node call, and the call you are using in Winlink Express are also pertinate. What are they? And you can use VARAFM as the drive. I think they will both work though. I assume that you have set the

Having trouble adding VaraFM port to existing node
Apologies in advance if this turns out to be a stupid question with a simple answer (which I suspect will be the case.) I'm trying to add a VaraFM port to my node and have been testing by connecting

Attach to a VARAFM port?
With a Vara FM port in BPQ, is it necessary to ATTACH to the port as part of the connect script for forwarding? It's been a while since I had a Vara FM port and just don't remember...

Re: Incomplete/incorrect gateway configuration (N0CALL)..
What is your client? Looking at the BPQ Node map it appears that you have your NODECALL set to both K4SPB and K4SPB-7 at one time. But I see you are offline at the moment. Your config does not assign

Re: Incomplete/incorrect gateway configuration (N0CALL)..
If I connect to K4SPB-1, client and server send packets back and forth every three to five seconds then disconnect less than a minute after connection. It does this with all of the ssids.

Re: Incomplete/incorrect gateway configuration (N0CALL)..
You are using TCPPORT 8100 for channel B and 8001 for channel A.? Is that an error?? Usually it would be the same TCPPORT to a single device and the Channel separates the data to each port.

Where are you seeing the error message? 73, John

Re: Terminal
VARA Terminal uses the same protocol as VarAC which will not operate with AX25. Use QTtermtcp from the BPQ downloads page. QTtermtcp will use VARA among others that will allow you to connect to packet

I did the att 6 but it never attached the port
By Robby · #42160 ·
Re: Terminal
Robby, my initial thought is that you will have to attach the port first, then issue a connect. If it is an RMS you are connecting to you should be able to connect, if it works, but you woul dhave to
