The original NETROM was an eprom for the TNC2 that was sold by Software 2000 ( if I remember correctly). As far as I know it is no longer available.
TheNet was an (allegedly illegal) copy. Not sure

That makes sense. I¡¯ll keep checking. It probably isn¡¯t setup for frequent
refreshing/syncing considering these server stations are typically not
moving around.

Winlink gets the position from your WL2KREPORT configuration line in your bpq32.cfg file, or from your RMS Packet program (if that's what you use.)

We are moving our club BPQ packet station to a new site. I tried updating the LOCATOR to the new grid square and I changed the BTEXT to the new lat/long but I can't seem to get the location to update

Yes, there is also a port specific beacon, set in the ports section of the web management interface and stored in UIUtil.cfg
