Easy sleuthing in this case - edit things then run "ls -lsart /usr/bin/linbpq" and see what files changed most recently :-) Assuming it's your own location you're trying to change, you should be able

In the web interface, there's this map position field under "Chat Mgmt" then "Configuration" - is that what you're after? This gets written to?/usr/bin/linbpq/chatconfig.cfg Individual user locations

Jim As far as I remember Kamtronics nodes were populated by the node ID beacon text not the netrom nodes broadcast. I cannot remember the exact format but monitor the freq. for the others you hear and

Went back to buster 32 lite pi version... did all the updates and upgrades... rebuilt the bbs with the ardop port... Magic it all works now... Thxs for the HELP !!! :) Guy
