I *think* you need the UPDATEMAP in the port config. Tho it may not work for some ports types. I dont have a frequency line here, but have the RADIO section configured for rigcontrol.

The Config File is written in NANO, the BBS runs in a Terminal, the BBS Output is in Terminal, so everything should be the same I guess.
