Hello all, The issue I am having is when I am on a LTE hotspot QtTerm does not seem to send any traffic to keep the connection alive though the CG-nat and it dies after just a short time being idle.

I notice that CTEXT behaves differently when I use a KISS port or the UZ7HO Driver for Packet. With KISS CTEXT is only displayed when the user connects via NODECALL or NODEALIAS, and is not displayed

If I understand your question, it is documented as part of the sample APRSDIGI config... ; You can specify a filter command to be sent when you log on to APRS-IS. Normally you don't ; need one. The

If I remember right (pardon this Old Fart's Memory) BBS=0 and The BBSCALL and the BBSALIAS Should be the same as the NODECALL and NODEALIAS. Or something like that. - Randy, WR0RR.

I don't know if the linux versions use it, but also look for a BBS=1 configuration, and set it to BBS=0.? I don't remember is SIMPLE sets this or not but would imagine setting BBS=0 would take care

Remove the BBS and Chat application lines and the LINMAIL and LINCHAT lines from bpq32.cfg. You could remove the bbs and chat config files, but I'd just leave them in case I decided to use them in the
