Last time I tried VARA KISS could only send UI frames so couldn't be
used for connections but I haven't tried it for a while.

connect to a partner like every hour, the stations
could confirm each other and disconnect. The Route table
would hold the connect route for some period of?

BUT, The connect would have to come from the VARA HF port and
not the KISS port since VARA will not connect
using its KISS mode!??

In our HF Forwarding Network it would be handy to have Netrom
paths available? over VARA.
