3D map of Milky Way at LRO

开云体育

Latest 3D map of Milky Way at Lichfield Radio Observatory (LRO) (My house!)

Thanks to Ted Cline of SARA who made this plot possible.

Software: ezRA and Rinearn3D.

I will explain how all this is achieved at EUCARA 2025 as well as demonstrating a 14 element 1420MHz-tuned patch Yagi based radio telescope and a new line of cavity filter's coming from China that can be made to users own specifications and demonstrate a simple wooden mount for hydrogen mapping of the Milky Way that can be easily built at home in a couple of days and requires very little knowledge or skills.
