Paul Nicholson ( in the UK ) has created a very capable set of tools called vlfrx-tools which run quite nicely on old PC's and Raspberry Pi's. Don't let the VLF of vlfrx-tools fool you - these tools

For the video capture I fully recommend looking at the GMN pi based solution as it is pretty well automated, maintained and feeds into the global network so very well worth considering. Kind Regards

Sorry folks I got it all wrong regarding yesterday's image. It wasn't noise !? Because we are only looking at +/-100Hz on the live stream I didn't recognise this as a reflection of the beacon signal
