X9 Flare

A pronounced? effect from the X9 flare yesterday seen my magnetometer:

?I saw no significant effect on muon or total counts.
(Red - DHO 23.4 kHz, blue - total count, orange - muon count )



An interesting small dip in sferics level, co-incident with the flare:

Also has anyone detected any changed in muon? flux during this flare? Would you expect such a change?

Here's my recording at 5 freqs. Three others went off just at the wrong time!

Unlike the X7 flare it happened at the optimum time to see a large effect.

Dish available for collection

 

We have been offered a six-foot solid dish with substantial stand nothing wrong with it. The stand is made with two-inch angle , steel , nut and bolted together. Can be pulled to bits. The dish is aluminium, Used to belong to the post office about forty years ago.? If you are interested, please contact me. It will need collecting from Bury in Lancashire.
