I don't use any VLF receivers, all I do is connect a loop aerial (a 5m length of old SCART cable) to the microphone input of a PC

and use that as the input to SpectrumLab. That way I can monitor many freqs. at once rather than

use a single dedicated receiver.

?

Transmitters often go off air or change frequency so it's easy in Spectrum lab to change the watch list when that happens.
