Hello,

Holiday season is here. And for many of us it feels lonely this time of the year.

Why not connect with others in the same boat, and be matched to further your connections for friendship or dating?

You are cordially invited to the Singles Holiday Affair for "Merry Matching" in-person on Sunday December 4 in Berkeley. This time we are welcoming Lesbians/Queer Women (including those who now identify as non-binary) who are 45+. We will be meeting in person at the Redwood Gardens Community Hall in Berkeley. Note that you must purchase tickets ahead of time - no tickets at the door.

This event has a structure similar to a mindful speed dating style event but allows genuine conversations and group fun in a safe and grounded space facilitated by a Life/Relationship Coach, Roke Noir. Since it is a Holiday Affair, beer and wine, in addition to non-alcoholic beverages, together with some light snacks will be available for purchase. Dress up in your holiday attires and let's make it a special evening!

Hello Roke,

Let's come together in a beautiful hall, with wooden floors and high ceilings, in the midst of a redwood garden. We start with some fun icebreakers accompanied by live music to relax into the experience.

Soon we start dancing to a variety of club and social music that keeps you moving and smiling. We will pause in between our dance steps to engage in conversations, natural or prompted to get to know each other.

At the end of the event submit the names of those you would like to further connections with, be it for friendship or dating. Be matched with those on your list who selected you too. Matches will be sent within 2 days from the event.

I am delighted to invite you to our September Singles Mix 'n Match event: Singles Pride Party, on Sunday, September 18, 4 - 7 pm at the gorgeous Redwood Gardens Community Hall in Berkeley.

We will gather in a beautiful hall, with wooden floors and high ceilings, in the midst of a redwood garden, with enough room inside and outside to feel safe . We start with some musical ice breakers, to get you to relax into the space and start engaging. Buy drinks and snacks as needed and settle down to enjoy live music by Shazam, whose multi-faceted musical talent keeps us in rhyme & rhythm & intercepted by open mic performances. Time will be curved out in between for you to engage in conversations with others.

Soon a call comes for you to put on your dancing shoes! The floor is cleared as you start dancing to a variety of club and social music that keeps you moving and shaking while catching your breath with others in the sideline. We will pause in between music sets to engage in conversations with others.

The intention of this group is to have a hub for all lesbian/queer women who live in the greater Bay Area to be able to find each other to connect with and engage in various ways to bring more peace, love, and joy to their lives.

If you don't know me you can find more about me here. I also have a lot of presence on Facebook.

I have been running Singles Events since 2004. I took a break for 3 years and am coming back to do so in new ways. My attention on be on how to hold space for lesbian/bisexual/queer women (including those who may now identify as non-binary) to allow them to meet their needs to live well. I am not talking about just dating, but all the things we need while we live our solo lifestyle.

I am starting by myself and hope to create several collaborative initiatives with other single women to offer a diverse range of playful and mindful events on a regular basis. If you have ideas and/or are interested in bringing them to fruition in collaboration with me, please reach out to me at ba.lesbiansingles@....
