Questions re old Atlas toys

 

A friend died last year. His son just gave me some tools.
1. Craftsman 6 inch lathe with parallel inverted V ways Craftsman model 109.20630
2. Atlas model 10100 6 inch lathe
3. Atlas taper attachment 10-761
4. Taper attachment 041-114

Sorry for yer loss . The 109 may be something that ya just want to put on a shelf in yer shop as a reminder of yer friend .? A lot of folks have turned out some mighty fine work with that Atlas 6" lathe . Are those complete taper attachments ? One of those PN's shows its a Bracket 040-114 according to this list . A actual taper attachment will have several parts .

Taper attachment numbers are from the castings.?
One more part is 041-116
I have no way to see a complete assembly drawing for either.

These look like parts of the 760 taper attachment for 10-12" lathes.

Yes…so now I have two of these. However one fits thin ways and other fits thick ways. Lucky me!

Also … thanks to those who identified my 6 inch er as made by Dunlap. Even has a near new looking Dunlap motor with it. The whole set-up appears VERY LIGHTLY USED. Seems to have two sets of change gears, too.

Speaking of the Number 750 Taper Attachment, I think this will fit both 3/8" and 1/2" ways by simply using longer clamp bolts.
