Re: 3D Printing Files for Gears, etc

Too bad someone hasn't done that for all the gears and such in the 9/10/12 inch Atlas/Craftsman lathes, though some of them are available on Thinginverse. I'm trying to learn enough CNC/CAD stuff to do it myself, but it's slow. Got a place to talk about it more if you're interested.

Anyone else who might be interested is also invited. Not everyone who plays with lathes and such is as interested in 3D printing as I am, so I started this group based on the comments of several members of the 7x12Minilathe group I also belong to.

I don't know if anyone has a 3D printer on this group, but in case you do (or know someone that does), I modeled all of the gears, the keyed hub, banjo, lathe handle, and a transposition gear for my Craftsman 109 lathe and posted them on Thingiverse:??

I have included all of the STLs, DXFs, and Autodesk Inventor files for each model in case people want/need to edit the files.? I licensed everything under a Creative Commons - Non-Commercial - Share-Alike license meaning anyone can share or use them but cannot sell them:??

Enjoy!
