Dear Group Members, I own a wonderful Palstar R30A and am thinking of purchasing a secondhand one for portable ops. I have posted in the LA30 Group about that device. Though I am also interested in the amplified antenna if users would recommend its use whilst portable around the East Coast of Australia. We will be staying away from populated areas whilst staying in rural country towns and bush camps. I am one whom must have his radio fix everyday and am wondering if owners of this device would whole heartedly recommend it.
