Recommendation for radon mitigation installer?

Hello all,

About a year ago, there was a discussion on this list of the Airthings air quality monitor, and we bought one. At first, it simply indicated that our CO2 was higher when more of us were in the house, but in recent months, the radon levels have been more worrisome.

So, with that in mind, I'm looking for recommendations of installers of radon mitigation systems. I had a look on Angi.com, and there is only one listed. Thank you in advance for any leads!

Katherine

We used ProTech when we moved into our house 14 years ago. I think they are still around.? You could also check on NextDoor.

ProTech also installed our system. They seem to have been acquired by a bigger firm since then.?

Katherine - we did mitigation about a year ago, and here's
the writeup I did of the experience from that time

Protect Environmental Ann Arbor.

These folks did our house. It's the organization formerly known as
Protech, apparently some transition to a new name. If you are not in
Ann Arbor this company also does business in other locations. My
experience was good so far.

Thank you all--Martin, Ed, and Rex! This is immensely helpful, and it certainly simplifies things to know there are just two choices in town and both have been good in your experience.
