2013 Brother MFC 9130CW has issues, new toner cartridges to donate

 

Hello All,
? ? ?I am assisting a 95 year old friend with donating his?2013 Brother MFC 9130CW that is not working properly to a group who may benefit from it. He has brand new toner cartridges that would also be donated.?
? ? ? It had been working properly up until just recently.?
? ? ? Please email me if you/your group would be interested. As a former teacher, it seems like a great project for kids to learn about printer repair.

That¡¯s a great printer. I have one myself. What kind of problem is it having? I assume you tried updating the firmware already - kind of a pain but it might be worth a shot.

A lot of devices like this, you¡¯re lucky if they ship one bugfix update after it hits the market, but that printer got several updates over the?years (still using mine often).

I think one of the releases may have removed Google Cloud Printing support, which your friend might need if they¡¯re using a Chromebook as their daily driver, but my girls had Chromebooks when they were younger and it never worked that well when it was supported, so probably not a huge loss.
