Passenger Cars et al

umtrr

Hi all... glad to see some life in this board! A few thoughts...

With respect to the passenger cars being put up on the A1G website,
yes, it's certainly something I'd consider. Although Rivarossi and
then Arnold/Rivarossi have made these available for years now, they
did "start" as A1Gs.

There are two principal barriers to getting this done: (1) time (2) a
new scanner - no, I still haven't gotten to that task.

I am also concerned, though, about something I read on another board,
that the "spookshow" site with all the locomotives including the A1Gs
was dormant and that its owner was leaving the scale/hobby. If
that's true, I might need to take on the task of putting the A1G
motive power out on my site too; which will be a bit of a bother
since I do not own all of it, or even most of it.

With respect to posting wants, trading and selling, go for it. I
don't see why not and maybe you can avoid *Bay fees. Just don't go
overboard.

With respect to boxed A1Gs, I think I mentioned that most of mine
aren't, or won't ever be again since the boxes have been hopelessly
separated from the cars.

All for now... back to work...

I own about 25 or so of the old Atlas engines as well aa a few of
the passenger cars, many of them still in their original boxes.

If needed, I could scan what I have for your use on the site.

I would like to learn more about the A1G motive power.
