Michael Bishop's Artwork/Packaging Folder

In case others may not have seen it yet, Michael Bishop has started a
folder in the photo section showing A1G artwork/packaging and it looks terrific!

Michael, is it your goal to have as many examples in there as possible? If
so, I have a number of items I could contribute.

I could start with the streetlights and bridges I have in their packages,
and then I could fill in with items you may not have.

Doug

A few years back I started a couple of pages related to the A1G Building
Kits and Train Set.

The Building Kits are at:

The Train Sets are at:

Hi Ross,

I have had your pages bookmarked since you put them out there but I'm sure
there may be others who didn't know about them so thanks for the reminder.

I only want to put images in the photo area that aren't out there yet like
pictures of building and structure packaging, etc. Like what Michael is
doing.

I think it's a great idea to put these images online both for history and
for the use of collectors.

Nice.
Just a brief look over though Ross, and I'd say you "Sand Tower" is actually a gravel pit/mine/ crusher complex.
Very nice all the same, but not the 'Sand Tower' that a rr would expect (i.e. loco servicing),
cheers

The official Atlas name for the structure was "Gravel Tower".

When I created the Buildings page I used an old Atlas Catalog for the name and description. The box does indeed say Gravel Tower.

I have gone back to the page and changed the name to Gravel Tower. I have also added some photos for the Ranch House and the Factory.

If anyone has some photos of building kits to fill in the blanks on my page, please send them to me. Also, indicate how you would like your name to appear beside the photo as I will provide credit on the page for the photo.

If someone has a kit for sale to fill in one of the blanks in my collection (where there isn't a photo), let me know. I also have a few duplicate kits that I would be willing to trade.

Ross.

Thanks for the update, Ross.

I will be sending you an email.

The 2852 Lumber Yard, 2853 Passenger Station, and 2858 Roadside Restaurant
were never produced but I do have images of what they were supposed to look
like from an early catalog.

The 2853 Passenger Station was eventually (1990s?), essentially produced as
catalog number 2841 and is still available.

I'm glad to be discussing these items as my concentration has been mainly
on the locomotives (there are some ucoming updates for these too) but I feel
the other A1G pieces are important too.
