Thanks for the link. I still have the switches my older brother had on his layout in the early sixties. They are snap switches in the same style box with brass rails.

I imagine they didn't call them "Snap Switches" yet, then. Or did they even have a switch machine attached and were more like the "Custom Line"? of today?
