Hi Dan,
I may still have a parts unit in my stash, let me see what I can dig up.
Cheers,

AIG Pacific - Soft Drivers
Greetings all!
I have an Atlas 1G Pacific I am attempting to resurrect.
Upon disassembly, I notice the drivers are made of a dark gray material and
are rather "soft".
They are so soft I fear they

Re: A1G Building Kits
Believe it or not, I actually have been recently considering at least doing just that which is a fairly major step for me. Some of the track is ballasted now but I ran out of ballast that's the same

Re: A1G Building Kits
Wondering what it would take to have Doug add some ground cover to his layout -- this is a crossover from a thread "on another network."
Maybe we can all chip in and get him a genuine vintage

Re: A1G Automobiles
I must be tired or losing my mind. The 8 pack of automobiles is catalog number 2809, and NOT 2309, of course.

Re: A1G Automobiles
And now, of course, since I said red seems to be rare since only one out of the 48 automobiles in my four auto transporters is red, I see the two out of the eight pictured in the 2309 set are red, so

Re: A1G Automobiles
The automobiles in the 2309 set are all Fords, assorted models and colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, gray, and black, red seems to be rare) - 2 door coupes, 4 door sedans, station wagons, and

Re: A1G Building Kits
Thanks Martin and the factory color is a bit misleading in the picture because it looks white, which it almost is. Actually, it's brick colored but the mortar lines are so wide that when I filled them

Re: A1G Building Kits
Great picture Doug,
and seeing your Atlas Factory, I realize that the kit I had was different. The side extension was only on one side, and the doors for railway access were only on one end, while I

I would like to see this group continue. I have been in N scale since Thanksgiving 1967 when I received my first N scale trainset. This was an Arnold Rapido 0-6-0 and some freight cars. This little

Re: A1G Building Kits
Here is a fairly recent photo of my current layout which has almost all of the original Atlas structures on it plus old Con-Cor, Revell, AHM, Bachmann, Heljan, etc. plus a few scratchbuilt

Re: A1G Building Kits
I've owned the same kit in at least two different colours, one with red bricks and pale grey roof, the other with pink bricks and a dark grey-green roof. The later was left on my layout when we sold

Re: Atlas Factory Building
I am using my Atlas a1g factory building as the briquette plant in my steel mill.? Even a
building kit that is over fifty years old can be used somewhere on a layout.

A1G Building Kits
This was always one of my favorite kits to add to what ever layout I was building at the time. Though you had to allow enough real estate as the kit had one very large foot print.

Re: A1G Automobiles
I'm not sure where they were made but I do know that they were used in the A1G auto racks in addition to being made available separately.? The photo is not mine so I can't open the package to check

Re: A1G Automobiles
Agreed,
I've never seen anything like this short of the Bachmann car/truck/bus/construction vehicle pack, which didn't even appear to be the same scale. Back in the day, I used to have to buy Wiking,

Thanks George,
Do you know what type of automobiles are in the blister pack?
When I worked at Engine House Hobbies in Wichita, Kansas, this was the sort of thing we had up front - like candy,
